Entre fantasmas y promesas. Un análisis sobre sentidos del trabajo en las narrativas de jóvenes del barrio Nueva York de Berisso

| Resumen: | Esta investigación analiza los sentidos sobre el trabajo de un grupo de jóvenes nacidxs y/o criadxs en el barrio Nueva York de Berisso (Provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina). Este barrio es uno de los más antiguos de Berisso y es reconocido por su pasado ligado a la cultura del trabajo y por su presente vinculado a la instalación de la Nueva Terminal de Contenedores (NTC) TecPlata. Además, ha sido objeto de múltiples investigaciones que apuntaron a caracterizar su "cultura del trabajo" en la época de auge laboral de la mano de los emprendimientos saladeros y, posteriormente, de los frigoríficos. En esta Tesis nos preguntaremos cómo lxs jóvenes construyen en la actualidad sus sentidos sobre el trabajo en el contexto de un territorio atravesado por la desocupación y la precariedad laboral pero también por un discurso sobre el futuro del trabajo que, a partir de la instalación de la NTC TecPlata, aparece como prometedor para ese grupo. La comprensión del modo en que lxs jóvenes configuran sus sentidos se realizó a partir de reconstruir las memorias colectivas del barrio y de mirar sus narrativas. En este sentido, además de realizar numerosas entrevistas y conversaciones con lxs jóvenes, también analizamos sus producciones comunicacionales, participaciones en experiencias de organización sociocomunitaria, experiencias vividas y experiencias transmitidas en relación con lo laboral. La aproximación al tema-problema fue desde una perspectiva de investigación situada y comprometida con lxs sujetxs de la investigación y sus vidas. En esta Tesis sugerimos que los sentidos sobre el trabajo de jóvenes, configurados en territorios con una fuerte impronta de la "cultura del trabajo" consolidada en contextos de inmigración, se comprenden teniendo en cuenta las condiciones de producción. El análisis de dichas condiciones no sólo nos permiten comprender los sentidos sino también identificar las posibles transformaciones y cuestionamientos a los sentidos transmitidos. En particular, en las experiencias de organización sociocomunitaria es donde se habilitan y construyen instancias de discusión de los sentidos instituidos que habilitan la configuración de nuevos sentidos y la ampliación de horizontes en las trayectorias laborales de lxs jóvenes. This research analyzes the meanings about work of a group of young people born and/or raised in the New York neighborhood of Berisso (Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina). This neighborhood is one of the oldest in Berisso and is recognized for its past linked to culture of work and is hereby linked to the installation of the New Container Terminal (NTC) TecPlata. Furthermore, it has been the subject of multiple investigations that pointed to characterize their "work culture" in the era of labor boom thanks to the salting enterprises and, later, meat processing plants. In this thesis we We will ask how young people currently construct their meanings about work in the context of a territory crossed by unemployment and job insecurity but also for a speech on the future of work that, after the installation of the NTC TecPlata appears promising for that group. The understanding of the way in which young people configure their senses was carried out through starting from reconstructing the collective memories of the neighborhood and looking at their narratives. In this meaning, in addition to conducting numerous interviews and conversations with young people, he also We analyze their communication productions, participation in experiences of socio-community organization, lived experiences and transmitted experiences in relation with work. The approach to the topic-problem was from a research perspective situated and committed to the research subjects and their lives. In this Thesis we suggest that the meanings of youth work, configured in territories with a strong imprint of the "work culture" consolidated in contexts of immigration, are understood taking into account the conditions of production.
