Insistencias de la manifestación feminista : pulso, agenda y masividad en la ciudad de La Plata

| Resumen: | Este trabajo caracteriza la conflictividad social feminista a partir de un análisis de las manifestaciones sucedidas entre el 8 de marzo de 2001 y el 26 de diciembre de 2019 en la ciudad de La Plata. Tomo estos años como límites del análisis porque, en ambos, la ciudad fue sede de enormes manifestaciones en el marco del Encuentro Nacional de Mujeres, en 2001 y del Encontrolazo y el Encuentro Plurinacional de Mujeres, Lesbianas, Travestis, Trans, Bisexuales y no Binaries, en 2019. La organización de estos Encuentros ha presentado desafíos para el activismo local por la gestión que implican y han sido instancias de aumento en la visibilidad de sus consignas y demandas. Respecto del enfoque de este artículo, han significado un salto de escala en las manifestaciones de la ciudad. Por eso, los he elegido como los años límites de esta periodización. Teniendo en cuenta lo anterior, aquí analizo el pulso de la conflictividad a partir de la cantidad de manifestaciones por año mostrando que aquello que se suele caracterizar como la "cuarta ola" del feminismo fue un aumento del número de manifestaciones por año y de manifestantes sólo en algunas protestas. Señalo que la intensificación entre 2015 y 2019 no fue la única del período, sino que existieron dos momentos previos: el año 2007 y los años 2011 y 2012. Para comprender esos momentos de alza en la conflictividad, abordo la agenda del activismo local y muestro que las fechas de movilización fueron mayormente efemérides locales, federales e internacionales y fechas relevantes para ciertos casos singulares de violencias de género, cisexistas y heteronormadas de la región. Por último, me refiero a la masividad en algunas manifestaciones a la luz de la bibliografía acerca de la "cuarta ola" en Argentina. Argumento que, más que una serie de acciones siempre masivas, existieron tan sólo algunas con esas características. This paper characterizes feminist social conflict based on an analysis of the demonstrations that took place between March 8, 2001 and December 26, 2019 in the city of La Plata. I take these years as limits of the analysis because, in both years, the city hosted huge demonstrations in the framework of the National Meeting of Women, in 2001 and the Encontrolazo and the Plurinational Meeting of Women, Lesbians, Transvestites, Trans, Bisexual and non-Binary, in 2019. The organization of these Encounters has presented challenges for local activism due to the management involved and have been instances of increased visibility of their slogans and demands. Regarding the focus of this article, they have meant a leap of scale in the city's demonstrations. For this reason, I have chosen them as the limit years of this periodization. Taking into account the above, here I analyze the pulse of conflict from the number of demonstrations per year showing that what is usually characterized as the "fourth wave" of feminism was an increase in the number of demonstrations per year and of demonstrators only in some protests. I point out that the intensification between 2015 and 2019 was not the only one in the period, but that there were two previous moments: 2007 and the years 2011 and 2012.To understand these moments of increased conflict, I address the agenda of local activism and show that the dates of mobilization were mostly local, federal and international anniversaries and relevant dates for certain unique cases of gender, cissexist and heteronormative violence in the region.Finally, I refer to the massiveness of some demonstrations in light of the literature on the "fourth wave" in Argentina.I argue that, rather than a series of always massive actions, there were only a few with these characteristics. |
