| Resumen: | Durante la última dictadura cívico-militar en la Argentina los ámbitos de la educación y de la cultura sufrieron la censura y la represión mediante distintos mecanismos implementados por parte de los militares que tomaron el poder.Teniendo en cuenta que el derecho a la libertad de expresión y de información es parte de la Declaración Universal de los Derechos Humanos y que los bibliotecarios somos una parte fundamental en el acceso al conocimiento, el presente artículo se propone reflexionar sobre la censura durante ese período histórico en nuestro país, reconstruir los mecanismos a través de los cuales se la ejercía y poner de manifiesto algunos de los actos de resistencia que hicieron posible que aún en situaciones de peligro los lectores se encontraran con sus libros. During the last military and civic dictatorship in Argentina, education and culture suffered censorship and repression in different ways, as a result of the policy stated by the military board governing the country. Taking into account that the right to freedom of expression and information is part of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and that librarians are a vital part in the process of access to knowledge, this article focuses on censorship during that historical period in our country, with the aim to reconstruct the mechanisms through which censorship was exercised and to highlight some resistance actions that made it possible that even in dangerous situations books could be found by their readers. |
