Una revisión del "nihilismo darwinista" de Carlos Castrodeza a la luz de un enfoque evolutivo de las emociones morales

| Resumen: | En su libro La darwinización del mundo (2009), el filósofo y biólogo Carlos Castrodeza afirma que actualmente, dada su sólida base experimental y teórica, la perspectiva darwiniana se presenta como una lente insoslayable para analizar las características de lo humano. Partiendo de allí, asegura que una vez que se considera seriamente dicho punto de vista, se confirma que el nihilismo anunciado por Friedrich Nietzsche ya a fines del siglo xix es hoy un hecho. Esta perspectiva de la condición contemporánea es denominada por el filósofo Antonio Diéguez como "nihilismo darwinista". El objetivo de este artículo es problematizar la concepción ética que supone Castrodeza en sus afirmaciones, a partir de investigaciones recientes sobre el origen evolutivo de la moral. In his book La darwinización del mundo (2009), the philosopher and biologist Carlos Castrodeza states that currently, given its solid experimental and theoretical basis, the Darwinian perspective is presented as an unavoidable lens to analyze the characteristics of human beings. Starting from there, he assures that once that point of view is seriously considered, it is confirmed that the nihilism announced by Friedrich Nietzsche at the end of the 19th century is now a fact. This perspective of the contemporary condition is called by the philosopher Antonio Diéguez as "Darwinian nihilism". The objective of this article is to problematize the ethical conception that Castrodeza supposes in his affirmations, in the light of recent research on the evolutionary origin of morality. |
