AB  - El presente trabajo pretende enlazar historias e identidades con procesos de construcción de poder político sin un centro aparente. De hecho, las propuestas identitarias y los procesos históricos funcionan como hilos de una red de sentidos cuyo punto de interacción era un "hombre de estados". Nos interesa destacar la representación que los agentes tenían de su realidad y la representatividad de los argumentos empleados a la hora de fundamentar el funcionamiento de la Monarquía, el poder del rey y la agencia del arzobispo de Toledo. Para ello, nos centraremos en particular en discursos reunidos en torno a don Pascual de Aragón, quien fuera miembro de la Junta de Regencia de Carlos II y Príncipe de la Iglesia. Por tanto, el trabajo que sigue a continuación observará los múltiples significados y tecnologías por los cuales en el Antiguo Régimen se procedía a la construcción política: procesos en los que no sólo interactuaban escalas y redes, sino también agentes que podían negociar en dicha coyuntura y no ser determinados por ellas.
AB  - The present work tries to link histories and identities with processes of construction of political power without an apparent center. In fact, identity proposals and historical processes function as threads of a network of meanings whose point of interaction was a "man of states". We are interested in highlighting the representation that the agents had of their reality and the representativeness of the arguments used at the time of founding the operation of the Monarchy, the power of the king and the agency of the Archbishop of Toledo. For this, we will focus in particular on speeches gathered around Don Pascual de Aragón, who was a member of the Board of Regency of Carlos II and Prince of the Church. Therefore, the work that follows will observe the multiple meanings and technologies by which political construction was carried out in the Old Regime: processes in which not only scales and networks interacted, but also agents that could negotiate in said conjuncture and not be determined by them.
