AB  - Mientras la palabra agenda presente en la convocatoria remite al día a día, es la expresión más acabada del presente, de aquello en lo que se está pensando ahora, pero al mismo tiempo de lo que se pone en duda y se reemplaza por otra agenda; la palabra archivo se asocia tradicionalmente con un pasado estable, establecido y cerrado. Pero durante nuestro trabajo con archivos latinoamericanos, no pensamos en un archivo establecido de una vez y para siempre; aunque la idea de archivo implica el establecimiento y la institucionalización permanentes, su condición será siempre la de un "estado de archivación" (Derrida 1995). En ese camino vemos que si nos hacemos cargo de la tarea de construir el archivo, y no darlo por sentado, construimos al mismo tiempo nuestros aparatos ópticos, nuestras máquinas de traducción para acercarnos a una obra que no cesa de comenzar. Desde este lugar, el trabajo explora la obra de Violeta Parra y de Mario Bellatin a partir de vestigios que son huellas inasimilables por parte de la obra institucionalizada por los medios tradicionales de publicación, donde encontramos en el archivo marcas de la irrupción de lo porvenir, donde el archivo nos lanza hacia un tiempo heterogéneo. No se trata de encontrar un supuesto origen, que no podemos buscar ni en el más obsesivo de los manuscritos. Por el contrario, lo que el trabajo de archivo nos brinda, como en el cuento en que los hijos revuelven la tierra heredada en busca un tesoro escondido y encuentran la mejor cosecha del año siguiente, son restos de lo que aún no ha sucedido, de lo que siempre está por acontecer.
AB  - While the word agenda present in the call refers to day to day, it is the most complete expression of the present, of what is being thought about now, but at the same time of what is being questioned and replaced by another agenda; The word archive is traditionally associated with a stable, established and closed past. But in our work with Latin American archives, we don't think of an archive established once and for all; although the idea of the archive implies permanent establishment and institutionalization, its condition will always be that of a "state of archiving" (Derrida 1995). Along this path, we see that if we take on the task of building the archive, and not take it for granted, we will simultaneously build our optical devices, our translation machines to approach a work that never stops beginning. From this place, the work explores the work of Violeta Parra and Mario Bellatin from vestiges that are traces that cannot be assimilated by the work institutionalized by the traditional means of publication, where we find in the archive marks of the irruption of the future, where the archive launches us into a heterogeneous time. It is not about finding a supposed origin, which we cannot look for even in the most obsessive of manuscripts. On the contrary, what archival work gives us, as in the story in which the children turn over the inherited land in search of a hidden treasure and find the best harvest of the following year, are remains of what has not yet happened, of what is always about to happen.
