El Teatro Estable de la Provincia de Tucumán : un análisis como política cultural y como oportunidad laboral

| Resumen: | El presente artículo indaga el Teatro Estable de la Provincia de Tucumán, una institución fundada en 1959 que tiene gran importancia en el campo teatral local. En primer lugar, el trabajo analiza las características que la institución tuvo en sus políticas de programación, poniendo de relieve el origen de la dramaturgia presente en los espectáculos. Se demuestra que el Teatro Estable realizó un viraje desde lo contemporáneo-internacional hacia lo tradicional local, especialmente si revisamos la programación entre 2000 y 2020. La segunda parte del texto analiza cómo incide el Teatro Estable en el mercado laboral, diferenciando lo que ocurre con los intérpretes y con los directores. Finalmente, se sugieren algunas posibles estrategias para potenciar el rol de esta institución en este campo artístico. This article investigates the Stable Theatre of the Province of Tucumán, an institution founded in 1959 that has great importance in the local performing arts field. First of all, the paper analyses the characteristics that the institution had in its programming policies, highlighting the origin of the dramaturgy of its spectacles. It shows that the Teatro Estable made a shift from the contemporary-international to traditional-local imperative, especially if we review the programming between 2000 and 2020. The second part of the text analyses how the Teatro Estable affects the labour market, by presenting differences between performers and directors' recruitment. Finally, some possible strategies are suggested to enhance the role of this institution in this artistic field. |
