Una propuesta didáctica para la aproximación inicial a la literatura griega arcaica y clásica : el itinerario poético a través del mito de Orestíada

| Resumen: | El presente artículo ofrece una propuesta didáctica para abordar de manera inicial las particularidades que presenta la literatura griega arcaica y clásica, asociadas primordialmente a dos ejes: por un lado, su definición como literatura aural; por el otro, la tradición de su materialidad: el mito. Teniendo en consideración estos dos aspectos que distinguen a un corpus fragmentario y siempre inasible, se sugiere una alternativa para aproximar a los y las estudiantes de nivel terciario a lo fundamental: la plasticidad y ejemplaridad del sustrato mítico y la noción de performance como una ocasión socialmente situada, efímera pero modélica. Con dicho objetivo, se propone la lectura de tres obras de distinto género, Odisea, la Pítica XI de Píndaro y la Orestíada de Esquilo, porque estas gravitan sobre un mismo mito: la saga de los Atridas, en particular el acontecimiento de la muerte de Agamenón. Las obras seleccionadas permiten comprender las distintas características de la épica, la lírica coral y la tragedia poniéndolas en relación con las diversas recreaciones sobre el mismo material tradicional. This article offers a didactic proposal to initially address the particularities presented by archaic and classical Greek Literature, primarily associated with two axes: on the one hand, its definition as aural literature; on the other, the tradition of its materiality: the myth. Taking into consideration these two aspects that distinguish a fragmentary and always elusive corpus, an alternative is suggested to bring students of advanced secondary or tertiary level closer to what is fundamental: the plasticity and exemplarity of the mythical substratum and the notion of performance as a socially situated occasion, ephemeral but exemplary. With this objective, the reading of three works of different genres is proposed, Odyssey, Pindar's Pythian XI and Aeschylus' Oresteia, because they gravitate on the same myth: the saga of the Atreidae, in particular the event of the death of Agamemnon. The selected works allow us to understand the different characteristics of the epic, the choral lyric and the tragedy, putting them in relation to the different recreations on the same traditional material. |
