| Resumen: | Este artículo analiza el corto documental dirigido por Julio Ramos acerca de los murales industriales que Diego Rivera pintó en Detroit a comienzos de la década del treinta. Nos centramos para ello en dos elementos de dicho trabajo documental: por un lado, en el relevamiento pictórico que hace Rivera tanto del caucho, materia prima del modelo productivo fordista, así como del rol de la industria médica en su relación con el mundo del trabajo. Y, por otro lado, hacemos hincapié en el trabajo a partir del método de montaje esgrimido por Ramos en tanto herramienta fundamental para sus fines expositivos. This article analyzes the short documentary directed by Julio Ramos about the industrial murals that Diego Rivera painted in Detroit at the beginning of the thirties. We focus on two elements of this documentary work: on the one hand in Rivera's pictorial survey of both rubber, the raw material of the Fordist production model, and the role of the medical industry in its relationship with the world of work. And, on the other hand, we emphasize the work from the assembly method that Ramos uses as a fundamental tool for his exhibition purposes. |
