AB  - Este artículo analiza el contexto en el que surge la Universidad en el occidente latino medieval y en ese marco la teorización y profesionalización de la filosofía. Por otra parte, expone de qué manera esta profesionalización impone su propia negación como la filosofía en lengua vulgar y los saberes no universitarios. Finalmente, reflexiona sobre la Universidad hoy.
AB  - This paper analyzes the context of emergence of the University in the Medieval Latin West and in this framework the theorization and professionalization of Philosophy. On the other hand, it presents how this professionalization imposes its own negation as the Philosophy in vulgar language and the non-university knowledge. Finally, reflect on the University today.
