Bestias de larga tradición. Tradiciones textuales en Animales fantásticos y dónde encontrarlos de J.K. Rowling

| Resumen: | En este artículo se analizan las tradiciones textuales presentes en el libro Animales fantásticos y dónde encontrarlos (2001), de J.K. Rowling, texto que junto con Quidditch a través de los tiempos (2001), Los cuentos de Beedle el bardo (2008) y el portal Pottermore participan de la expansión del mundo ficcional de la autora. En el caso particular de este libro, se recurre a una serie de operaciones textuales que dialogan con la tradición del bestiario, género que proviene de la Edad Media, y con el manual escolar. Se revisará el uso de la parodia, la polémica y el modo en que Animales fantásticos interviene en la conformación del verosímil del mundo ideado por Rowling This article analyzes the textual traditions present within Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2001), by J. K. Rowling, a text which joins Quidditch Through the Times (2001), The Tales of Beedle the Bard (2008) and the web site Pottermore participates in the expansion of the author's fictional world. In the particular case of this book, a series of textual operations in used to establish a dialogue with the tradition of bestiaries, a medieval genre, and with text books.
