AB  - El objetivo de este trabajo consiste en examinar el proceso de centralización sanitaria en la provincia de Tucumán durante la primera mitad del siglo XX, atendiendo a sus particularidades y a sus vinculaciones con la administración sanitaria nacional. Se abordan tópicos que permiten reconstruir, en instancias diferenciadas, los rasgos del desarrollo institucional, las tensiones al interior del sistema y los cambios que pautaron el recorrido hasta la centralización sanitaria lograda durante los gobiernos peronistas.
AB  - The aim of this paper is to examine the centralization of the sanitary process in the province of Tucumán during the first half of the 20th century, considering the province distinctive features and its relationship with the national sanitary administration. We deal with subjects that allow rebuilding, in different stages, the traits of the institutional development, the tension inside the system and the changes that guided the path towards the sanitary centralization during peronist governments.
