AB  - Este artículo examina la legislación para proteger la salud de las mujeres trabajadoras de la Argentina entre 1934 y 1955. La hipótesis central del texto es que las ideas que se plantearon en los años cuarenta para proteger la salud de las mujeres trabajadoras quedaron subsumidas y diluidas en planteos más generales llegados los años del llamado peronismo clásico. A pesar de existir numerosas voces que reclamaron la necesidad de dar protección a las mujeres trabajadoras- sólo en tanto su rol de potenciales madres- no se produjo ninguna modificación sustantiva ni del marco normativo ni del accionar sanitario.
AB  - This article examinates the legislation to protect Argentinian working women´s health between 1935 and 1955. The main hypothesis of the text is that the ideas that were conceived on the fourties to protect the working women´s health ended up submerged and diluted in more general issues during the years of the named "classic peronism". Even when there were several voices that reclaimed the necessity to give protection to the working women-just in their roles of potential mothers- there wasn´t any substantial modifications on the normative frame or the sanitary action.
